Our virtual breastfeeding class at ECU Health Medical Center offers basic instruction on how to breastfeed your baby. We discuss the importance of skin to skin, breastfeeding in the first hour of birth, practices related to breastfeeding in the immediate postpartum period and breastfeeding after returning to work.
