DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Who would you want to make medical decisions for you if you could not speak for yourself? You can name a health care agent in the Health Care Power of Attorney advance directive\, and by doing so\, this person will have the legal authority to represent you in a medical crisis if/when you can’t speak for yourself. You may also choose to complete a Living Will and indicate the types of care you would want or not want\, at the end of life. \nJoin us for an educational session to learn the who\, what\, when\, where\, how\, and most importantly\, the WHY of advance care planning. At ECU Health\, we want to provide care that matches the medical treatment(s) that you choose. We also want the person that guides decisions about your care to make the decisions that you would make. \nTrained staff will be available to answer questions you may have and to assist you with completion of these documents with FREE notary support. \nPhoto ID is required for completion of documents. \nIf you have already completed your Advance Directives and would like to have them scanned into your ECU Health electronic health record\, please feel free to bring your documents to this class for assistance.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”46669″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
