SUMMARY:Free Lung Cancer Screening for Eligible Uninsured Patients
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]ECU Health Cancer Care offers free low-dose CT (LDCT) lung cancer screenings for eligible uninsured individuals. LDCT is a proven screening tool that can detect lung cancer early\, when treatment is often most effective. \nIndividuals may qualify if they are ages 50–80\, have a significant smoking history\, currently smoke or have quit within the past 15 years\, and have no signs or symptoms of lung cancer. \nA provider referral is required to determine eligibility and schedule a screening.
