You can name a health care agent in the Health Care Power of Attorney advance directive\, and by doing so\, this person will have the legal authority to represent you in a medical crisis if/when you can’t speak for yourself. You may also choose to complete a Living Will and indicate the types of care you would want or not want\, at the end of life. \nJoin us for a FREE session to learn the who\, what\, when\, where\, how\, and most importantly\, the WHY of advance care planning. At ECU Health\, we want to provide care that matches the medical treatment(s) that you choose. LDCT is a proven screening tool that can detect lung cancer early\, when treatment is often most effective. \nIndividuals may qualify if they are ages 50–80\, have a significant smoking history\, currently smoke or have quit within the past 15 years\, and have no signs or symptoms of lung cancer. \nA provider referral is required to determine eligibility and schedule a screening.
