ECU Health Cancer Care invites eligible residents of Eastern NC without health insurance to receive free lung cancer screenings at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville. Free lung cancer screenings are for individuals 50 years of age and older with a significant smoking history and no signs or symptoms of lung cancer. Talk to your doctor about the need to be screened for lung cancer as a provider referral is required. Screening includes a low-dose CT. Free screening eligibility is confirmed during phone registration, smoking history, residency, age, income, and insurance requirements.
