Free Lung Cancer Screening for Eligible Uninsured Patients

ECU Health Cancer Care offers free low-dose CT (LDCT) lung cancer screenings for eligible uninsured individuals. LDCT is a proven screening tool that can detect lung cancer early, when treatment is often most effective.
Individuals may qualify if they are ages 50–80, have a significant smoking history, currently smoke or have quit within the past 15 years, and have no signs or symptoms of lung cancer.
A provider referral is required to determine eligibility and schedule a screening. Talk with your healthcare provider to learn if this screening is right for you.
