Meetings are open to stroke survivors and their loved ones and/or caregivers. Meeting topics include professional speakers, informal sharing of ideas/concerns, and social events. Our childbirth class offers instruction on the labor and delivery process. Topics discussed during this session include the labor process, hospital birth plans, when to contact medical providers, breathing techniques, medication, self-care and methods of childbirth. “We’re a limb you can hold onto”. This group provides support for individuals with limb loss and their family or friends. Please join us on the third Monday night of each month (excluding December and January). Note: the Disability Advocates and Resource Center is not a support group, but is a resource for people with a disability. They are located on John Hopkins Drive.

The grief journey following the death of a loved one or family member is unique to each individual, and everyone experiences grief differently. Living On After Loss is an eight-week grief support group with meetings taking place every Monday from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

CPR is ideal for parents, grandparents, baby sitters and others who want to learn infant CPR but do not need a certification to meet a job requirement. Registration is required.
