Greenville, N.C. – ECU Health has been recognized with a 2025 Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX) Supply Chains of Distinction Award, highlighting the health system’s commitment to investing in people and technology to contribute to long-term savings and more efficient supply chain management. ECU Health was named among the top 25 large organizations, a distinction which reflects transaction volume and not hospital size.
The Supply Chains of Distinction Award honors top-performing GHX Exchange-connected health care providers who demonstrate industry-leading supply chain performance through exceptional execution of GHX’s fully automated “Perfect Order” performance metrics. ECU Health averages 20,000 automated transactions per month that required no human intervention from purchase to payment from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2025.
