Why ECU Health Pediatric Neurological Care?
We work collaboratively with other pediatric doctors and specialists at ECU Health Medical Center and the Maynard Children’s Hospital to provide the best care for patients and their families. We work closely with various teams including pediatric surgery, pediatric oncology, pediatric neurology, pediatric orthopedics, PICU and NICU, pediatric anesthesia, Child Life specialists, and many others.
We work hard to include family members in every care decision. We discuss the different options for each patient and identify a plan that works well for both child and family to promote the best optimal result.
Providing excellent care close to home is a top priority. Children benefit from decreased travel times to their procedures and by ensuring the family unit can remain with them during their surgical treatment. For families needing an option to stay close to the hospital, the Ronald McDonald House can provide all the comforts of home while also remaining near your sick child.
